Mark Bagley, The Soup Nazi and Others to Appear at MeggaXP This Weekend

For our fans in Michigan who may have missed the latest episode of A Podcast for All Seasons, in addition to anyone else who lives in the area and may be interested, we would once again like to remind you that another convention you will not want to miss is fast approaching.

This weekend (September 17-18) marks the second annual MeggaXP (formerly Meggacon), which welcomes lovers of comic books, movies, video games, and anime alike. Set to be held at the Commonwealth Commerce Center in Jackson, this event promises to span four floors, delivering much geeky goodness.

Guests scheduled to appear include comic book artists Mark Bagley (Batman, Trinity, Justice League of America) and Evan “Doc” Shaner (Future Quest, Superman: American Alien) as well as celebrities such as Arryn Zech, Efren Ramirez, Krystal Laporte, and Seinfeld’s Soup Nazi himself, Larry Thomas.

Those attending on Saturday will want to stick around for the Cosplay Ball to be held later that evening, which I happen to be quite excited about. I love a multifaceted con experience and MeggaXP looks to deliver on multiple fronts.

Be sure to visit Dark Knight News next week for our recap of the event, which is sure to be chock full of cosplay photos and much more!
