For many of us, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice gave us everything we wanted, and then more when the extended R-rated cut was released. There are those, however, that wished such an event had happened back in the day with their favorite on-screen versions of the characters.
Thanks to some awesome editing work done by a faithful fan, a fan-made retro trailer has surfaced which pits the legendary actors, Christopher Reeve and Michael Keaton, against each other. The retro trailer by Stryder HD, which was released over this past weekend, features clips from Batman (1989), Batman: Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Superman: The Movie (1978), Superman II (1981), Superman III (1983), and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987), as well as clips from Wonder Woman (1979).
Spliced together with the modern soundtrack, these clips give us a hint of what Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice could have been like back in the day. Check it out below:
