Followers of the hit British television comedy-drama, Stella, can celebrate as fan favorite Julian Lewis Jones recently confirmed that he has secured a role in the upcoming DC Comics film, Justice League. Outside of his stellar television perforamce in Stella (see what I did there), Jones has been seen in feature films like Invictus, Zero Dark Thirty, and The Bank Job. Wales Online got a chance to interview the actor regarding this big announcement, about which he was fairly hush hush.
“I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play, but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made. It was filmed at Warner Brother’s studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Iceland. I’m just happy to have been involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release which will be next year.”
Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher. Julian Lewis Jones joins the superb supporting cast of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, Joe Morton as Dr. Silas Stone, and cameos from the cast of Wonder Woman. We will find out what character Jones will be playing in November 2017.
