Batman v Superman may have already dawned upon us, but there are still some little neat treats for the fans, such as two previously unreleased posters for the movie.
The posters were recently released online and feature extreme close-ups of the movie’s titular heroes: Batman in armored form and Superman with glowing heat vision eyes. Interestingly, Superman’s eyes are glowing so intensely that it looks like that his eye sockets are getting veins. There was no reason given why they were not used in the movie’s advertising campaign, but it is common practice for studios to photoshop multiple ideas for posters that ultimately get rejected. What probably happened is that Warner Bros decided to go with the full body character posters to better showcase the characters’ looks for Batman v Superman. Still, these are a rather cool looking alternatives.
