With the opening of fellow superhero film Captain America: Civil War, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earned a little over $1 million domestically.
Now in its seventh weekend at the theaters, Batman v Superman is beginning to wind down its theatrical run. Nonetheless, the film managed to stay in the top box office rankings this past week at number 10. It made $1, 045,000 this weekend to a total domestic $327,250,133. The film took a steep audience attendance dip of 73% from the previous week, its biggest dip yet. Of course, this is not Batman v Superman’s fault, but the fact that it is facing direct competition from Captain America: Civil War opening in domestic theaters. Batman v Superman’s overall worldwide box office total is $865,450,133.
