Matt Nable to Reprise Ra’s Al Ghul on Legends of Tomorrow

Actor Matt Nable previously portrayed arch-villain Ra’s Al Ghul in the third season of the CW series Arrow. It was a much, much more faithful version of the character than was previously seen in Batman Begins. And even though Oliver Queen killed Ra’s in the third season finale, fans were left wanting more.

Well, it looks like they’re going to get it. Thanks to the time traveling nature of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Ra’s is set to make a return appearance on March 31st.

From the episode synopsis:

SARA RETURNS TO THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS – Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the ‘50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable). John Showalter directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree (LEG109). Original airdate 3/31/2016.

Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8pm EST on the CW.
