1960’s Batman LEGO Set Revealed

Holy LEGO set, Batman!

It was 50 years ago today (January 12, 1966) that a phenomenon began on the airwaves in the United States. Batman premiered on ABC with the classic episode “Hi Diddle Diddle,” and the rest is history. Soon enough “POW,” “WHAM” and “ZING” became a part of pop-culture and helped kick off Batmania.

With today’s celebration, it only makes it appropriate that LEGO would make a big announcement concerning their new product hitting store shelves in March.

Na na na na na na na na Batcave!

That’s right, a HUGE Batcave based on the classic series will soon be yours to buy, build and play with. It’s the set we deserve and need right now. SuperHeroHype has provided us with pictures of the set, and the loads of fun that come with it including:

  • Nine minifigures
  • 2 batpoles leading from Wayne Manor into the cave
  • a Bat-lab with the Bat-computer
  • the Batmobile
  • the Batcopter
  • so much more

Take a look!

The set is scheduled for a March release and will cost $269.99.

This is easily worthy of doing the Batusi.
