Arkham Knight was released on June 23, 2015 (but PC gamers would rightfully disagree); regardless, the game has been out for quite some time, and before the year is over, Arkham Knight players might be wondering what else they can do with the game, especially if they have over-played it.
I’m not typically a proponent of the usage or exploitation of game glitches — except for the New Game Plus difficulty-switch glitch for The Last of Us Remastered — but sometimes, we get bored, curious, or filled with unconventional desires that require the use of game glitches, which are generally rather arcane, esoteric, or downright difficult to understand or execute (i.e. something ridiculous like: spin around twelve and a half times, jump three times forty-five degrees to the left, wait ninety-two seconds, and press the Start button seventeen times).
Anyway, someone has discovered a particular Arkham Knight glitch that allows players to use any character in Free Roam mode — characters such as Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, or Azrael. The execution or initiation of the glitch is a bit difficult to pull off, and will indubitably require both practice and trial ‘n’ error, but if you have the patience and precision to get it to work, then you will be able to use any of the aforementioned characters in Free Roam mode. However, there is a disclaimer or qualifier of sorts — the city won’t be populated, and all you will be able to do is explore. So, if that still somehow sounds fun, then maybe this glitch is for you.
Presented by Batman Arkham Videos, this is a detailed and perhaps slightly confusing description of how to execute the glitch:
This glitch, known as “Corner Cover Zipping”, lets you free roam as any character in Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
To perform the Corner Cover Zip glitch, you need to start a Predator AR Challenge. Use the corner cover in a specific spot and select a projectile gadget – Batarang (Batman, Azrael & Batgirl), Shuriken (Robin), Bolas (Catwoman), Escrima Stick (Nightwing), Laughing Gas (Harley Quinn) or Flash Bang Grenade (Red Hood).
Aim and throw the gadget, but right after the animation starts, let go of aim and press Square (on PS4) or X (on Xbox One) to cancel the movement and prevent the object from being thrown. Quickly, before the character stops crouching, start aiming again while moving left or forward with the left analog stick. This way your character will be in the crouching position but separate from the wall. Hold the aim button and the analog stick (forward or left) and throw the gadget. If done right, you will be pushed towards a certain direction in the map, allowing you to get through blue walls and other obstacles.

I don’t think I will personally partake in the usage of this glitch because I don’t desire to run around an empty Gotham with one of the other Arkham characters. However, by all means, go for it if you have the patience and desire.
