‘Gotham’ Garners Four Emmy Nominations

The 2015 Emmy nominations are in. This year, there were more comic-based TV shows at one time than ever before. But how was that reflected in the list of nominations?

Favorably, for Fox’s Gotham, at least. The show has earned four nominations in four different categories. They are as follows:

Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role

Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series

George Haddad, Supervising Sound Editor; Dale Chaloukian, Sound Editor; Chad J. Hughes, Sound Editor; Ashley Revell, Music Editor; Joseph Sabella, Foley Artist

Outstanding Art Direction For A Contemporary Or Fantasy Series Single Camera

Doug Kraner, Production Designer; Laura Ballinger Gardner, Art Director; Regina Graves, Set Decorator

Outstanding Costumes For A Contemporary Series Limited Series or Movie

Lisa Padovani, Costume Designer; Danielle Schembre-Borakovsky, Assistant Costume Designer

Other DC series The Flash and Constantine also earned nominations, for visual effects and production design, respectively.

Season two of Gotham will premiere Monday, September 21st at 8pm on Fox.
