Gotham has just added another to its guest list for Season 2. Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs) is set to play a young Silver St. Cloud. Longtime Batman comic book readers will recognize the character as one of Bruce Wayne’s more notable girlfriends. This particular incarnation is described as “an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante.”
It’s said that she will indeed have a romantic relationship with the young Bruce and introduce him to her billionaire uncle, Theo Galavan, who may become a mentor of sorts for Bruce. However, she is also describe as having “a heart beating with dark intent.” This is Gotham, so not everyone may take the path fans expect.
I just don’t see the Bruce/ Silver relationship being what it was in The Widening Gyre. That would be a bit awkward given the actors’ ages.
Gotham premieres September 21 on Fox.
