Seriously, this movie was awful, but at least it had Sean Connery in it. Take that, Batman and Robin.

Remember this movie? Seriously, this movie was awful, but at least it had Sean Connery in it. Take that, Batman and Robin.

The classic British Spy show ‘The Avengers‘ will be crossing over with the current comic iteration of Adam West’s Batman in Batman ’66.  Announced at the San Diego Comic-Con, the crossover will see both classic 60s show interact with each other like never before. If you’re not familiar with The Avengers, a quick summary; Two English spies defend the world from insane plots much like the 60s Batman show, with mad geniuses, and evil aliens from the moon trying to take over the world.

Like Batman, they’re involved in fighting crime and as the show went on became known for its weird and campy vibe. They also both had a horrible film come out within a year of the other in the late 90s that both decided it was a good idea to take what people loved about the franchise, removing it, and then making the film as painful as possible to sit through. No release date has been announced yet for when it will be released.
