Cameron Monaghan Crashes Gotham SDCC Panel in Character

Gotham actor Cameron Monaghan has been heavily teased as the show’s Joker and this was all but confirmed at this weekend’s WBTV panel at San Diego Comic Con. The actor first appeared as “Jerome” in an episode of the show’s first season, as a meek and quiet kid who was revealed to have some extremely Joker-esque tendencies by the episode’s end.

The panel at least proves that Monaghan will be back for the show’s second season, probably with a much larger part to play and will at the very least be a much more prominent threat.

While Monaghan’s role as the Joker has not been officially confirmed, that’s pretty much a moot point now that the cast and crew are taking such strides to showcase this character.

You can watch the full Gotham portion of the WBTV panel below, with Monaghan making his appearance around the 14:50 mark.
