As the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady’s next magnum opus in the video game medium, draws near (June 2), it’s become apparent that fans of the Arkham universe will have multiple ways to enrich their experience. Should you elect to get your read on, you will be pleased to know that a graphic novel and two novelizations will arrive in stores this spring/ summer.
Let’s start with those novels. Arriving in stores first will be Batman: Arkham Knight – The Riddler’s Gambit (320 pages, author unknown) on June 2 to coincide with the video game. Then, on July 7, Batman: Arkham Knight: The Official Novelization by Marv Wolfman (also 320 pages) will hit shelves. As of now, no other information is available, but we at DKN will keep you posted. As for the graphic novel/ trade paperback, Batman: Arkham Knight Vol. 1 arrives in comic shops May 27, just ahead of the game. DC is rushing it to collected format quicker than usual to capitalize on the game’s success, which is actually a smart move. Considering it includes four print issues, I assume the comic book tie-in will have a decent run. Check out the cover and solicit below.
