Batman: A Visual History Launch Video

2014 is the 75th year that Batman as a character has been in publication and all year us fans, and the folks over at DC have been celebrating with awesome animated shorts, special edition comics, and never before released Blu-rays. To add to all that, DC just posted the above video  on their Youtube channel advertising Batman: A Visual History, which is a 352 page book dedicated to the art of Batman through all 75 years of comic book publication until today. The video features James Tynion IV, Jason Fabok  and the legendary Frank Miller discussing why the art of Batman is so important to them. It’s a cool video to check out, as it’s always good to hear people like Frank Miller rap about what makes Batman great, but it also gives us a look at what’s inside.

Batman: A Visual History is  published by DK Adult, written by Matthew K. Manning, with a foreword by Frank Miller. It’s available on Amazon for around 25 bucks, and could stand to be a solid addition to any Bat-fan’s library.

For more news on upcoming merch and all other goodies as we wind down the Year of the Bat, keep checking back to DKN.
