‘Batman v. Superman’ Crew Members Appearing in New Mexico

Due to the fact that the production crew on Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice has wrapped up shooting in both Michigan and Illinois, it seems that there hasn’t been anything new to surface from the set. So much so, that I have to take a break from my “This Week on the BvS Set” column. The possible non-news here is that some better known members of the production crew cropped up in New Mexico, as predicted way back in October.

However, the structure that I’m referring to was built near Deming, New Mexico. The film’s still photographer, Clay Enos, started tweeting photos from Playas, New Mexico, nearly an hour and a half away.

Here are those tweets:

The day before, Michael Blevins, Henry Cavill’s trainer, also tweeted a photo from Playas.

So yeah, no set photos that reveal anything. Just a particularly strong coincidence due to the fact that both have strong ties to the BvS crew along with the structure that was already built over there. The big rumor is that initially, the plan was to shoot in Morocco, but due to the ebola outbreak, that option simply wasn’t viable. At the moment, there’s just a lot of speculation roaming around about what is actually happening over there. Hopefully, set photos surface so that I can get back to my column.
