‘Batman v Superman’ Extra Says Female Robin Will Be In The Movie (Updated)

UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter  is confirming that Jena Malone is indeed in the movie. Whether or not she is actually Carrie Kelley remains to be seen. Still, you have to admit that things are lining up a little too well.

Original Story: It’s no secret that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been filming at Michigan State University in East Lansing this week. There’s also been a lot of buzz surrounding actress Jena Malone and her red hair recently, leading many to speculate she’s playing Carrie Kelley/ Robin in the film. Given that Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns is a heavy influence on the film, it seemed plausible. But since there have been so many BS rumors surrounding the movie, I rolled my eyes.

That changes today.

WILX News 10 in Lansing has been able to get an extra to spill the beans. He says that scenes were filmed involving an altercation between Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor – and a female Robin is in the movie! Apparently the military gets involved as well.

Don’t just sit there. Check out their report.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. It opens in theaters March 25, 2016.
