Batman Inspires Hockey Team

This could turn even me into a hockey fan.

According to CBS Sports, the Toledo Walleye will be wearing Batman-themed jerseys, in honor of the hero’s 75th anniversary.

The game will be against the Evansville Icemen and is set to be played November 22. The home team will be wearing the 1960’s Batman suit, with the Icemen gearing up in the Riddler jerseys.

This is such a grand idea, especially being that it’s on my birthday and is only about 2 hours away from where I live. Hmm… holy hockey idea Batman! I may be going to a game sooner than I thought.

The team will be auctioning off the jerseys with proceeds benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association, March of Dimes and the Walleye’s own charities… and will sell a limited number of replica Batman jerseys at the team’s store.

Again, awesome.
