‘Penguin’s Umbrella’ — Gotham Season 1, Ep. 7

Slowly but intently, Gotham‘s Penguin has been killing and manipulating his way back to somewhat comfortable living and of course, power; the most iconic of Batman villains have to start somewhere, even if that means landing a dish-washing job at a crime-family-affiliated restaurant.

November 3, 2014 will bring us Gotham Season 1, Episode 7, which seems to be aptly titled, “Penguin’s Umbrella.”  We have seen Penguin with an umbrella before, but could this upcoming episode give us a glimpse at a more iconic, familiar umbrella?

Anyone could easily deduce that Gordon’s decision to spare Oswald’s life would inevitably lead to unfavorable or even dangerous circumstances.  Now that Penguin is “home” again, what actions will he take that could cause Gordon regret such a decision, despite Gordon’s inherently good nature?

Here is the synopsis for Episode 7:

As violence between Maroni (guest star David Zayas) and Falcone continues to escalate, Penguin reveals a new element of his manipulative strategy, forcing Gordon to deal with the consequences of his decision to spare Penguin’s life in the all-new “Penguin’s Umbrella” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Nov. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
