“This Week on the ‘BvS’ Set” is a new recurring column that attempts to catch you up on the ongoings on the set of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, permitting anything interesting actually happens on the set.
It seems that things quieted down significantly since last week. As it turns out the ‘BvS’ has left Detroit, but they have not left Michigan. The great and powerful Bananadoc has been tracking their movements. It seems that ‘BvS’ has moved over to Michigan State University is East Lansing. Not much is going on at the moment, except they are prepping the school’s Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum for shooting.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!
Let’s take a look at some of their preparations:
What could this be on campus? Twitterer @HalRoth seems to think it’s a either a kiln or a furnace. Any ideas?
As the wonderful wizard, Bananadoc, mentions, the museum’s exhibits are all closed, an employee carves out its business hours from the door, and they’ve constructed… some stuff. As with the debris from Wayne Financial in Metropolis, we are completely lost as to what in the world those things are. Presumably, they’ll be used more so for more practical behind-the-scenes purposes rather than any aesthetics.
This report tells us it’s for a ballroom or dinner scene. Possibly another one of Bruce’s charity benefits?
That’s all for today, folks.
If you’re in the East Lansing area and happen to catch something interesting (and are a wonderful person), please drop us a line over here or over at Facebook.
