Approximately three months ago in May, Warner Bros. announced that Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham would be released some time in Fall 2014. Adam West, via a San Diego Comic Con interview, has revealed that the third Lego Batman video game installment will be released on November 11, 2014 — the same day that the 1966 Batman: the Complete TV Series will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Download.
A brief synopsis of LB3 via Comic Book Movie:
Following the events of Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Brainiac uses the powers of the Rings of each Lantern Corps to take over the universe by shrinking planets and cities to add to his collection. In pursuit of the Legion of Doom, Batman and the Justice League must travel into the far reaches of space to stop them.
Additionally, Lego Batman 3 will present players with the opportunity to go retro — to play a level in the vein of the 1960s Batman series. The level will feature Adam West as Lego Batman, while gamers will also be able to play as the rest of the 1960s Bat-characters, including the Robin, the Boy Wonder. Lego Batman 3‘s remaining 150 playable characters include members of both the Justice League and the Legion of Doom, while level design will include areas located in outer space, such as alien planets.
