First Look At Henry Cavill As Clark Kent in ‘Batman v Superman’

Recently, we got a first look at Henry Cavill’s look as Clark Kent on the set for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  He certainly looks like a mild mannered reporter for the Daily Planet; he has a big coat to hide his physique, and what seems to be loose dress pants. In the comics, loose clothes combined with a slouched posture is how Clark Kent hides just how muscular he is so as not to draw attention to himself.  The photo itself comes from the Twitter account of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, a charity that supports retired members of the Royal British Marine Corps and their families, of which Cavill is a supporter of.  Seen in the picture is Cavill holding up a T-shirt from that organization.  Still, this is our first real look at Clark Kent as a reporter for the Daily Planet, and it’s a really nice look in my opinion, particularly the brown coat. Hopefully we’ll see more of him sans T-shirt in front of the outfit in the weeks to come.
