UPDATE! First Pictures of LexCorp in ‘Batman v. Superman’

UPDATE: Looks like our buddy, Chad Perry was right on the money. That building of which he hastily took a snapshot was, in fact, BvS’s LexCorp. The “X” isn’t blue as he described, but it seems that there were some blue veil/tarp covering the logo before filming actually started.

Twitter(er) Mark Walstad managed to snap some clear, high quality shots of the new LexCorp building.

Take a look:

Is it as sleek and modern as Google? Not quite, but still very cool and imposing. It is certainly befitting of someone as intimidating as Luthor.

It seems that the inclusion of Superman’s archnemesis, Lex Luthor, was always in the stars for the Man of Steel follow-up. Heck, in Man of Steel, you can even see a skyscraper labelled LexCorp in the trailer. Well, this week, we may be getting our very first look at LexCorp itself.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice started principal photography about a month ago… so eventually we were bound to encounter the company that Luthor built, right? Well, it looks like a fan living in the Detroit area, by the name of Chad Perry, has managed to discover what he purports to be the fully-constructed building to be featured as LexCorp in BvS. Accordingly, construction began several weeks ago and was only recently completed bearing what he claims is a giant blue ‘X’ and the word “LexCorp” underneath.

Here is the hurried snapshot:

I can see the large blue ‘X’, however the “LexCorp” sign is much more difficult to distinguish. So far, the building is particularly underwhelming. Hopefully, the interiors leave a better impression. It could be likely that they will barely shoot at LexCorp at all.

Considering that I can’t see the “LexCorp” sign at all, I’m a little dubious at the moment, so until someone, maybe Chad, grabs a better snapshot of the building, I’ll consider this a rumor for the time being.

What do you think? Hip, sleek design? Or incredibly bland? Is it even LexCorp?
