Jeremy Irons Talks Batman vs. Superman

Batman vs. Superman is off and running, with filming rumored to have already started. However, Jeremy Irons, who will be portraying Alfred Pennyworth in the project, recently spoke with Absolute Radio about how he’s read a script, but he doesn’t think it’s finished.

Take a look.

For those of you that don’t remember, the script for Batman vs. Superman was originally written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy), before Oscar winner Chris Terrio (Argo) took over.

Is this reason for alarm? I don’t think so. As I’ve seen and read many times, a script is a blueprint, and is always changing throughout filming. I was worried with the amount of rumors and the short turnaround that this film was being rushed. Then Warner Bros. delayed it 10 months, so they could make sure they get the story right. Smart move, because a lot is riding on this movie. So have no fear, Pennyworth fans, this movie is getting its act together and will surely knock it out of the park.

The film is due to open on May 6th 2016, with a cast that also includes Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White).
