In an unconfirmed Tweet, the new Batsuit, along with the Wonder Woman costume, of Batman vs. Superman were supposed to be revealed very soon, but was pushed back due to the delay in filming.
There used to be a time when silly, unverified rumors would require a long-winded report that provided details and a “reputable” source. Nowadays, people are able to cause panic and dismay in 140 characters or less. With the advent of Twitter, it’s easier to disseminate unconfirmed information, whether it be from the master of unverified scoops, El Mayimbe or that random producer Daniel Alter dropping hints about Batman vs. Superman, despite no involvement in its production.
Well, we’ve got someone else in the pipeline bold enough to drop rumors… and then retract them. So, let me catch you up on the current non-news surrounding Batman vs. Superman from Forbes blogger, screenwriter, and Batman-On-Film admin, Mark Hughes.
Okay, fans, get ready, a bat-suit & WW reveal seems to be imminent, as in possibly days away!

He quickly followed-up that premature Tweet with a disclaimer:
The delay in start of filming might push it back a tad, but I’m hearing it may drop as originally planned in next 10 to 12 days or so.

So while, everyone is still too busy tearing off their chest hairs and roaring in excitement, he quietly tried to cover himself, should he be wrong. Overall, it just begs the question of why he even tweeted that to begin with if it was going to be pushed back? Nowadays, it feels like there are more people on the Interwebz who would rather immediately let loose a scoop like this for 15 minutes of fame than maintain some journalistic integrity
But then, a few days later, he dropped a heavy bomb.
FYI I’m hearing the bat-suit reveal is likely pushed back a bit due to the delay in filming. That’s not confirmed, but I trust the info…

Yeah… where was your “not confirmed” statement days back?
Well, so it seems that if we were to believe Hughes’s second Tweet on the matter, we would have gotten something by next week. So now that he’s sufficiently gotten everyone excited for no reason, I guess let’s try to speculate on the incredibly vague and ambiguous phrasing of “a bit” or “a tad.” If we were to use Hughes’s wonderful and imaginative units of measure, “a tad” or “a bit,” when do you think we would see these suits? Perhaps, two weeks, three weeks? Maybe late March, early April? Regardless, make sure you understand that this man confirmed nothing and that salt will forever be your best friend until some official comes along.
What do you think? Can we trust Mark Hughes or his source? Are you excited about the possible reveal of Batfleck or Wonder Woman? Or do you think that he jumped the gun? Let me know.
