The Batman prequel Gotham has gotten down to business the past couple of weeks, adding cast member after cast member (read DKN’s report here and here). So it’s no surprise yet ANOTHER announcement today, announcing that Jada Pinkett Smith is coming to the show, in a role even die-hard batfans won’t recognize.
“Fish Mooney.”
Interesting name. Nonetheless, not surprising that a new enemy will be added to the long list of Gotham’s rogues. In the show, Mooney is “a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner. She’s got the street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book. Imposing and hotheaded, she’s not one to be crossed.” Mooney is also the boss of a young psycho you may have heard of…. Oswald Cobblepot.
