BvS Being Rebranded, Christopher Nolan Not Currently on the Crew List

There’s been a lot of hype lately over the news of who’s playing what in the upcoming Batman VS Superman. If you haven’t heard, here’s a rundown of who those people are:

Henry Cavill as Superman

Ben Affleck as Batman

Gal Gadot as Wonderwoman

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor

Jeremy Irons as Alfred

Amy Adams as Lois Lane

Diane Lane as Martha Kent

Laurence Fishburne as Perry White

What we HAVEN’T heard much about is who’s going to be behind the scenes, making all of this happen. Warner recently released a statement that fills us in, though:

The new film is currently being written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

Did you notice that Christopher Nolan wasn’t in there? Nor was Emma Thomas. Both produced the last two Batman films, as well as Man of Steel. There’s no way of knowing for sure that they definitely will not be a part of Batman VS Superman; it just seems odd that they weren’t listed among those that are a part of the upcoming movie.
