“We are now in the stage where we’re refining our designs with the last series of camera tests and doing our final tweaks in preparation for shooting.”

It’s unknown what the Superman tweaks will be, but in the comic books Clark’s Earth mom designed the costume. In Man of Steel, Clark found the costume in the Fortress Of Solitude (a Kyrptonian spaceship). Maybe the tweaks on the costume will be to make it look less alien? Or possibly just more comfortable for Cavill.

“Batman Vs Superman” has a July 17, 2015 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Gal Gadot.

Michael Wilkins briefly mentioned that he is “tremendously excited” to be involved with this project. Wilkins is known for his costume designing work on movies such as 300, Jonah Hex, Watchman, and Man of Steel. With production begining shortly on this film I wonder how long Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) has been working with them behind the scenes before it was announced that she was Wonder Woman. I’m also curious as to what all Wilkins is going to be “tweaking” on Henry Cavill  Superman suit. Rumors have been going around that Ben Affleck’s Batman suit will be loosely based off of Jim Lee’s New 52 suit. Only time will tell as we get closer to the theatrical release date on July 17, 2015.
