Batman: Arkham Origins Digital Graphic Novel Announced

Being a Batman fan, if you enjoy digital content then you will be happy to know that DC Entertainment and digital studio Madefire have formed an alliance and will be releasing a “Batman” app for IOS. The product will provide a new interactive experience for readers with what is described as a DC2 Multiverse graphic novel. The app will provide a multi path reading experience taking us through the prequel story for the latest Dark Knight game, Batman: Arkham Origins.

The app provides readers with dynamic content of both artwork, action sound effects and is integrated into the story with a background soundtrack. The interactive story has been segregated into eight chapters which can be purchases when released over two-week iterations. Alternatively you can buy the entire story up front. Each release comes with alternate endings combined with a host of story lines. As you work through the content, your choices will determine the outcome and to that end will determine if you get to the next chapter. All the choices the reader makes can result in different types of conclusions. The experience ensures that it keeps the reader involved and in tune with the story.

Finish the game and a prize is waiting for you at the end. Two new skins for Batman: Arkham Origins. They are injustice Batman and the exclusive New 52 Metallic Batman. Alternatively you can pre buy a series pass and be granted the skins first.

“DC2 MultiVerse is the latest in a series of innovations that demonstrates how we work with digital partners like Madefire to organically enhance comics and the digital storytelling art form,” stated Jim Lee, Co-Publisher, DC Entertainment.  “With the launch of the BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS – A DC2 MULTIVERSE GRAPHIC NOVEL app, fans can choose the destiny of their characters – and follow both Batman or his rogues gallery of Super-Villains, all within an immersive reading experience tied to the actual game through prequel story lines and an exclusive skin.”

“We have supercomputers in our pockets – we should expect more than just scanned in print,” stated Ben Wolstenholme, Madefire CEO. “It is immense to have DC Entertainment bring Batman and Superman onto the Madefire platform.”

DC Entertainment and Madefire have also re-released Injustice: Gods Among Us with new features like new art work, sounds and visual design. The recently newly designed Injustice comics is giving fans a great chance to reunite with the series in a new refreshing way prior to its return in January next year (2014). Chapters in the new series have been built by red hot up-and-coming scribe, Tom Taylor. Download Injustice from the mad fire app or from deviantart.com
