Zimmer Hasn’t Been Asked Back For Batman vs Superman

Zack hasn’t talked to me about it, so I don’t have to worry about it! I’ll worry about it when I have to worry about it, and then, if I’m lucky, I’ll have an idea. If I have an idea, I can do something with that, but if I don’t have an idea, then my good idea is going to be, ‘Get somebody else.

At the rate things are going now, Hans might just say no if people keep pressing him about it.  When interviewed by Vulture recently, The Dark Knight Trilogy composer has admitted that no one has even approached him to do the score.  “Quite seriously, the thought right now is that no, I don’t want to go and take what I did with Chris and just plonk it into another movie. There isn’t one good reason to do it, and there are so many good reasons not to do it.  He goes on to say that he didn’t  enjoy working on Pirates 4, giving insight that he’s getting bored of doing sequels.  I think its time to take a step back and ask ourselves do we really want him to come back?  Me personally, I think that we have taken Hans for granted, just expecting him to do these films to get an epic score but there is such thing as over saturation.  It would be like asking Nolan to come back and co direct with Zach.  Maybe its time for another person to come in and do something great with the music.  Or maybe we should just play it safe one more time and get someone fresh for Justice League.  What Do you think?
