The soundtrack for Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox was released on September 10th, 2013. For those of you have not yet picked it up, the package artwork for the limited edition copy has surfaced online.
It seems these days that practically every component of these DC Animated movies are becoming more and more celebrated. Every aspect of these movies are usually dealt with deep admiration for the source material and the care to produce something extraordinary. The music, it seems, is absolutely no exception. I know I get goosebumps every time I listen to the score behind the Tunnel of Love sequence in their adaptation of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. As you would expect, I can’t properly convey how excited I was to find that the original score by Christopher Drake will hitting stores on October 8th.
However, it seems the soundtrack to Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox has been released for nearly a month now and the news here is that the package artwork for the Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox – Music From The DC Universe Animated Original Movie has surfaced online. The packaging itself is kind of lackluster, but the booklet is where much of the good stuff lies, such as a screencap of what will be one of the more brutal scenes of the movie, as well as great in-studio photos taken during the recording of the score.
Take a look:
The score was composed by Frederik Wiedmann, the composer of Green Lantern: The Animated Series. The soundtrack is currently available online from La La Land Records for $19.98. Act fast, because it’s limited to 2000 copies and considering how late it is in the game, there may not be many left. Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure if I remember the score being all that great, but the way I judge the quality of a score is that if you don’t really notice it for being bad, then it did its job and properly conveyed the emotion of the scene.
Have you pick it up yet? If not, do these images entice you? Let me know.
