Necessary Evil was announced a couple weeks back as a documentary about all the various DC villains, designed to coincide with DC’s Forever Evil during the Villains Month that’s coming out this October. It’s narrated by Christopher Lee and has a whole bunch of people talking about the various origins of super-villains and the rogues galleries we love to hate from various titles.
In this extra clip from the documentary, they talk about the villains from Hawkman’s cast, as well as Firestorm’s. I suppose it makes sense to take the clip to talk about some of the more less villains in DC Comics because anyone can name off the top of their heads most of Superman’s, Batman’s, The Flash’s, or some of the more well known super hero villain casts out there. There’s a whole plethora of great bad guys out there that no one really uses anymore. Even Batman has a bunch of great forgotten rogues, like KGBeast or Prometheus. We’ll see more as the months march on when the documentary is released October 25th (which, coincidentally, is also the release date for Batman: Arkham Origins on all major consoles).
