CBR got an exclusive look from DC at next month’s Batman #23 variant cover, by artist Gary Frank.
Frank’s cover depicts Bruce Wayne ensconced in shadow, surrounded by bats as he stands in front of a cave.
The interesting, and perhaps most exciting, thing about this cover is how iconic this image is. Any Bat-fan knows this moment all too well, whether the Miller version, or even the classic Bill Finger original. This, coupled with the tweeted images we showed you a few weeks ago, tell us Bruce’s turning point into the shadows will be upon us in just a few weeks.
