First clip from “Lego Batman” film now online

In case you didn’t already hear about it, DC Comics and Warner Bros. teamed up with LEGO to bring our “Brick” Knight to the small screen in “LEGO Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite.” The film will be heavily based on the story of the hit multiplatform video game “LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes,” and even contain some reanimated cutscenes taken directly from the game.

Batman and Robin must team up with Superman to stop Lex Luthor and The Joker from tearing Gotham City apart “brick by brick.” The film will feature many other memorable DC characters in LEGO form, including some of Batman’s most trusted allies, and some of his most dangerous enemies.

The first clip of the film has been released online for all to see, and you can check it out below. It features Bruce Wayne entering the Batcave as Martian Manhunter contacts him from the Justice League Watchtower. The film will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 21.
