The story line sounds really out of this world, which messes with the mythology of how Bruce Wayne became Batman as well as how the other characters interact with him such as Alfred. The script was penned by Darren Aronofsky and Frank Miller, which would explain a lot about why things seem a bit unconventional. At least with Christopher Nolan’s script on Batman Begins stuck with the some of the similar notions on how Bruce became Batman. Truth be told, this script would have been a cool graphic novel. However, there is already a graphic novel out there that has similar elements of Aronofsky’s script. It’s called Batman Year 100 by Paul Pope. If you haven’t read the novel yet, you can pick it up because it is a real bad ass read and the novel holds a lot of Frank Miller’s influences.
