SPOILERS: WHO IS THE ALTERNATE RED NIGHTWING?

This is a spoiler zone for the Injustice: Gods Among Us game and comic book. Who is the alternate red Nightwing in the game? And why does he have long hair? Who could it be? Click the jump to see more.

If you do not wish to read it or know what’s to come for the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book, because it’s that good and too awesome to spoil. Please don’t go beyond this point.

If you’ve been keeping up with the Injustice: Gods Among Us news. The game will be coming out April 16th and the TV spots have already started to pop up on television featuring Kevin Smith, and some other segments of the game. A few gamers have a demon of the game or the game itself, and awhile back someone released a clip revealing who is the red Nightwing with the long hair. Now, if you’ve seen this red Nightwing. He looks sinister as hell and one would think he’s part of the Russian story line in the Red Son pack. But, he’s not. So, who is he?

At first, I thought it was Jason Todd (Red Hood). However, he hasn’t been introduced in the comic book and for one he’s not wearing a helmet at least that is what has been shown. The only two Robins found in the Injustice: Gods Among Us story line has been Dick Grayson (Nightwing) and Damian Wayne (current Robin). According to that clip that has now been taken off of Youtube (convenient), it has been revealed that this red Nightwing alternate is none other than…

Yup, you read that right. How could it be? I won’t spoil much of the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book, but I felt that little fart would turn on Batman. You can see it from one of the future covers of the comic book. He’s not even on Batman’s side, but on Superman’s side instead. The little lovable turd is fighting his father. Typical, right? Nice one, Tom Taylor (writer of Injustice) and props to the creators of Injustice. No one really saw that coming. Also, (this something I will not spoil) something bad happens to one of the Batman characters in this game. This game gets better every day and the comic book does sell it very well.
