Sadly, I’ve decided to walk away from Action Comics for professional reasons.

Andy Diggle was set to take over Action Comics with Tony Daniel after Grant Morrison left the comic. Today on Twitter he annouched before he even started he was leaving the book. This is not the first writer to be announced to take over a DC title only to leave before they even started. It seems DC is being too protective of their properties and not allowing the new writers much room to tell a story. Creative VS Editorial is nothing new but it seems like the working with DC New 52 it’s even tougher.
It was the toughest decision I’ve ever had to make, especially with Superman’s 75th anniversary and Man of Steel on the horizon.

We’ve heard rumors that unless your Synder or Morrison than it’s going to be a battle. Tony Danial will be taking over the book for the time being.
Regarding ACTION COMICS – artist Tony Daniel will be expanding his role and taking over as writer and artist for the remainder of the arc.
