INJUSTICE GAME: ALTERNATE SKINS & 2 NEW CHARACTERS ADDED

Two new characters have been added and talks about new alternate skins for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Click the jump to see more.

Two new characters have been added and it’s Lex Luthor and Bane, which is totally cool because Superman should have Luthor in the game. Bane well…he needs to be there because of The Dark Knight Rises so his presence is required due to popular demand. It’s a good move to bring both of these characters in, but what about Batman’s other allies? We have Nightwing who is another major character in Injustice: Gods Among Us. What about Red Hood, Damian Wayne (Robin), and Red Robin? What about those guys? Here’s what Ed Boon (game creator of Mortal Kombat Injustice) has to say about adding Red Hood, Damian, and Red Robin:

“It’s one of the more common questions we’ve been asked. When we mention Nightwing, everyone asks ‘Damian Wayne? Red Hood?’ All these incarnations of a ‘former-Robin’ character have been asked. One thing we’ve been considering doing is alternate skins for the characters. It’d be cool if we could, say, have a main Barry Allen skin and then if you really want to go retro have a Kid Flash skin, or Impulse. All of those things would be a lot of fun. You can’t accommodate everyone, but it’d be great to have multiple versions like that.”

It’s cheap, but it’s a good move to incorporate different skins for Nightwing to turn into Red Hood, Red Robin, and Damian Wayne (Robin). This is similar to how Arkham City was able to show the other Robins in the game. In the end, it’s all a win win for everyone to play their favorite former Robin character and current Robin in Injustice: Gods Among Us. Tom Taylor who is the writer of Injustice: Gods Among Us  comic book title that will be coming out in January. Taylor is going to have a huge gallery of characters to play around with when this title comes out. Note, this title will be exploring the events that took place before Injustice: Gods Among Us happens where the superheroes fight against each other. The title will give a nice backstory for the game when it comes out.
