The Bat Was Almost The Batboat!

Well this is one piece of news I wasn’t expecting.  It seems  Chris Corbuld, creator of the vehicles for The Dark Knight Trilogy, campaigned hard to get a Batboat into the film, but Nolan obviously opted for the flying vehicle named just The Bat.

I was heavily pushing for a Batboat, I love working on water and thought it would have been a great Bat-vehicle. Chris felt that it wasn’t big enough for the last in his trilogy…
Well I’m glad it worked out the way it did.  Is it just me, or does a Batboat just not sit well in the waters Nolan crafted out?  What do you guys think?  Would you want to see some concept art of this stuff and how it could of worked in the story?  Sound off in the comments below.
