It was four years ago that Barbara Gordon decided to become Batgirl and Gail Simone (writer) will diving into this back story on Barbara. For some, people are more interested in how Barbara got out of her wheelchair than her becoming Batgirl. Ed Benes is artist for Batgirl now, and there is much improvement. His art direction has more purposeful direction that makes Simone’s writing seem more together. The only way words can be illustrated best is if the art can best project them.
