Reports have been going up all over the internet in the past day saying that The Dark Knight Rises will be released in December 2012. Some of these reports are giving it the official date of December 7th. We have yet to hear from Warner Bros. on this, so as of now it remains simply a rumor. It would make sense to release in December, so as to make it in time for all the Christmas shopping.
