The Hollywood Reporter posted that on 8/8/12 The Dark Knight Rises has reported in a global haul of $732 million . Which means it has surpassed Ice Age : Continental Drift and is now the second highest grossing film of the year with Marvel’s Avengers in No. 1 with $1.46 billion . I think if the horrible shooting during the midnight screening in Aurora, Colo would not have happened things would be much different . Do you think TDKR has what it takes to pass Avengers ?
