A police source revealed that James Holmes originally planned to target the cast such as Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway at New York Premiere. Had Holmes attended the premiere He would have had easy walk up access to the cast and crew of the movie and other public bystanders.
The police source also said that “Holmes ended up changing his plans at the last minute due to paranoia that they would have catched him with a car-load of weaponry.”
