Eric’s Dark Knight Rises Review (No Spoilers)

The Dark Knight Rises was amazing third act movie experience. Since the the end of The Dark Knight,
Gotham has been waiting for Batman to return. Bruce Wayne has become a recluse, He is brought out of retirement only after the emergence of Bane.

Tom Hardy’s Bane is at the complete opposite villain from Heath Ledger’s Joker. Whereas the Joker was chaotic, spontaneous, Bane is a slower, more thoughtful villain, and the plot he orchestrates are well done. At nearly three hours long, Some characters get sidelined for periods of time. The action sequences are amazing well done by Nolan.

Hans Zimmer wrote a amazing score. Too me the best of the three movies.
As far as cast goes Christian Bale best acting was in this one, Gary Oldman was solid as Commissioner Gordon, Michael Caines best effort was in this one, Morgan Freeman is good as always.

Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, and Marion Cotillard—are all excellent. Hathaway’s Catwoman is on par with Michelle Pfeiffer version. Joseph Gordon Levitt’s character is strong plot catalyst who is sort of the every man’s character.

Tom Hardy as Bane was unbelievably great, especially given the fact that he spends the entire film behind a mask. The story was solid, Personally The Dark Knight Rises is tied as second best third act of a trilogy of all time. Tied with Return of the Jedi and behind Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King.

Nolan has truly made a masterpiece that has a fitting and enjoyable ending to the trilogy.
