On Hans-Zimmer’s website, the release of the cover image for the original soundtrack for The Dark Knight Rises was released. It is the picture of the chalk designed Batman logo on concrete. It is the same logo that was placed in selected city areas where fans had to find the logo, take a picture of it, and post it on twitter to release The Dark Knight Rises trailer 3. The logo is going to become iconic as of now, since the movie is well on it’s way coming out on July 20th. The original soundtrack will be coming out three days before the movie on July 20th. So if you are a music junkie like I am. I suggest you pre-order or wait for the soundtrack to be released and take a listen to the awesomeness that is Hans Zimmer.
There are some people on Hans-Zimmer’s website who have a distaste for the soundtrack’s cover. Some have stated that it looks to childish or expected more visual design for the soundtrack. Some are expecting more scores to be released similar to other Zimmer’s work where he released extra songs on albums or more albums to be released since this is the last of the trilogy. I can say this, only Warner Bros. marketing department knows this and Zimmer. Stay tuned!
Comment below or on DKN Facebook about what you think of the soundtrack’s cover. Do you wish there was a different soundtrack cover? Are you expecting more songs and album for the finale of this Batman franchise?
