DC Vice President David Hyde Steps Down

You may not know David Hyde but he was DC Comics‘ VP . For almost nine years of directing publicity, David Hyde is leaving the company. Over the course of his career with DC Comics , Hyde has seen DC Comics reorganize itself into DC Entertainment, as well as the steady growth and transformation of the comics category in the book market . Hyde joined DC Comics in 2003 . He oversaw the promotions supporting DC’s book publishing side during the release of the Watchmen movie and millions if Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s Watchmen copy sales. Hyde was around for the industry’s initial steps toward the transition to digital delivery as well as a major reorganization of DC Comics during 2009-2010 . The past year he had been involved in DC with  media coverage between the launch of The New 52 revamp and the announcement of Before Watchmen .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DC Vice President David Hyde will be leaving his position in the company at the end of this week .
