‘LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’ Releases Game Details

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game dropped a new trailer and is now opened up for pre-orders.

Legacy of the Dark Knight promises gamers that they will be immersed in every aspect of Batman mythology. If you watch the trailer, any Bat-fan can immediately recognize at least one or two scenes recreated in the LEGO version.

Yeah, man. What a world where the game can have scenes from every Batman movie, including Batman and Robin. The opening of the trailer is a trip. It recreates the opening scene from the original Arkham Asylum video game where Batman takes the Joker to Arkham. It’s appropriate that they homage the Arkham games, since the fighting mechanics gameplay seems heavily influenced by them.

Anyways, online pre-orders have opened up for the game. It is available on all platforms. And just like any other game, there is a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Pre-orders also include a DLC of Batman’s The Dark Knight Returns suit. That’ll be pretty sweet to go around beating on LEGO mutant gang members and yelling, “This isn’t a mudpit, it’s an operating table. And I am the surgeon!!”

Check all out the details of both the Standard and Deluxe Editions below.
