With less than two weeks to go until Gotham begins airing its fifth and final season, a new poster has been revealed on Instagram. You can check out the original post below with the poster in all its glory:

The image depicts a rainy Gotham City Hall with an electoral poster for Oswald Cobblepot – The Penguin himself. While many fans likely assumed that promotional material of this type would showcase someone else, namely Harvey Dent, the hint at some upcoming developments for Oswald is more than welcome.

Though the artist is uncredited (and a sweep of the comments on the post revealed nothing), this artwork looks extremely similar in design to one posted not too long ago on the same account, which also teased an upcoming development for another character.

Needless to say, the build up to this final season has been a long one. With such a short time frame between now and the beginning of the end, it appears as though we have a lot to look forward to. Let us know in the comments below: what are you most looking forward to? Are you sad to see Gotham end? Or are you more excited to see how it all concludes?

Gotham‘s final season will premiere on Fox January 3rd.
