The new Young Justice Outsiders teaser trailer has arrived! A 26 second clip has never made me click so fast readers. The third season is set to come to the DC Universe streaming service on January 4th, 2019 and it’s thrilling to see the fans’ response.

Welcome Back

Young Justice originally aired on Cartoon Network for 2 seasons between 2010 and 2013, before being cancelled due to low toy sales and Mattel pulling funding.

Having a strong fan campaign and high viewer ratings on Netflix, the series was officially renewed for a third season by Warner Bros. in November 2016. Development on Outsiders began quickly and by July 2017, it was announced that the third season would be made up of 26 episodes, and that at least half of them had been written.

With this new trailer, we get not only the release date but some story details too. Greg Weisman revealed that the series would pick up story elements from the first two seasons, as well as the tie-in comic series. This is exciting to see all mediums of the Young Justice story coming together and sharing the same universe.

The Casting

The first voice actor confirmed to return was Khary Payton as Aqualad. We have also seen that Alyson Stoner is coming back too.

In June, Nolan North revealed that he had recorded five episodes and we have also seen news that not only has Britt Baron has been cast but that Marina Sirtis will be reprising her role as Queen Bee.

To see the actors having the same passion as the rest of the team to bring these characters, not only back to our screens, but to keep the story going is exciting indeed.

What are your thoughts readers? Are you excited to see Young Justice coming back with a full 26 episode season? January cannot get here soon enough for us!
