The king of the movie cameo is at it again.
Usually seen popping up in Marvel movies, Stan Lee, pops up a few times Teen Titans GO! To The Movies, adding to the plethora of cameos he has accumulated over the years.
This is the first cameo in a DC movie for Mr. Lee, who plays the role of himself, perfectly. An animated version of Stan Lee constantly pops up throughout the film, blundering his way through the film.
The first appearance has Stan saying “This is Stan Lee, dig my subtle cameo! This is a DC movie! I’ve gotta get out of here!”. Stan also throws in his iconic “Excelsior!” for good measure.
Added to his Marvel cameos, this takes his tally to an impressive four in 2018 alone! That’s not even counting his appearances in Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Cloak and Dagger. Now being halfway through the year, with plenty still to come, I wonder what the cameo total will be by the end of the year.
