This weekend is the Mondo Gallery of Phantom City Creative’s Batman: The Animated Series Art Show. The opening reception was last night from 6 – 10 p.m., with the art being on display until March 12. The Mondo Gallery is located in Austin Texas and is open to the public.

Part of the festivities during the event is a special “Batman Family Day” on the Saturday of the event. From 10 a.m. until Noon, kids and parents can join the Dark Knight himself to protect Gotham, paint faces, and other family activities. Baked goods from Zucchini Kill and coffee will be served.

Artist Justin Erickson had this to say:

“For me Batman: The Animated Series is the best on screen version of Batman by far. The show featured the best Batman/Bruce Wayne, the best Gotham, the best villains, the best everything. Bruce Timm, Eric Radomski and their creative teams made something incredible that could be light hearted and fun to dark and tragic without missing a beat. I hope what we’ve done with this gallery is a worthy tribute to everything they created. Kevin Conroy is Batman.”

Here is some of the new art that will be on display:

As is tradition with Mondo, any art prints that are left over are sold online at mondotees.com at a random time that they choose, so keep a lookout on their social media channels if you wish to add these, and anything else shown at the event, to your collection.

Along with the art prints, the 1/6 scale Batman future from TAS will be shown as well.

Which prints will you be keeping an eye on when it is on sale? What Mondo Batman prints do you already own? Let us know and better yet, show us your collections!
